Summer Writers

Jake Amatruda is a rising sophomore in Timothy Dwight College. He is spending the summer interning for Grassroot Soccer, an HIV education and prevention program, in South Africa. He covers the World Cup from in-country and other local issues.

Sarah Armitage is a rising junior in Pierson College. She will be writing about sustainable cities this summer from Copenhagen, Denmark, where she is interning for the Danish Architecture Center.

Raisa Bruner is a Production Editor for the Globalist and a rising sophomore in Calhoun College. She is spending the summer in Madrid interning for a human rights publication.

Ramon Gonzalez is a rising junior in Branford College. He is spending the summer in a writing internship for the Argentina Council for International Relations in Buenos Aires. Ramon enjoys infrastructure.

Jeff Kaiser is the Editor-in-Chief of the Globalist and a rising junior in Saybrook College. He covers the World Cup from Jordan, where he is researching the impact of new media in the Middle East and interning for the citizen journalism site 7iber.com.

Nikita Lalwani is a rising sophomore in Morse College. She is spending the summer in London interning for Simon Hughes, Deputy Leader and Member of Parliament for the Liberal Democrats.

Charlotte Parker is an Associate Editor for the Globalist and a rising sophomore in Calhoun College. She is spending the summer studying French in Paris.

Diana Saverin is a rising sophomore in Berkeley College.  She has written about the United Nations International Conference on Women for the Globalist and is spending her summer in Jerusalem working for an organization that educates the media about Israel.
